Love Is A Beautiful Thing
The question is asked, "Can anything be more beautiful than a boy and girl clasping clean hands and pure hearts on the path of marriage? Is there anything more beautiful than young love? "
And the answer is given, "Yes, it is the sight of an old man and woman finishing their journey together on that path. Their hands are gnarled, but still clasped; their faces are lined, but still radiant; their hearts are are bowed and tired, but still aflame with love for each other. Yes, there is something more beautiful than young love. Old love."

I (Lana) snapped this photo of my grandparent's intertwined hands at a family gathering recently. Nearly fifty four years in, they are still in love.
People like that are my heroes. :)

Family Pictures 2012 :)
Yes, we DID take family pictures before Christmas. No,of course we still haven't sent them out. If you know us, you are not at all surprised. I (Allison) am sharing these with you on behalf of my family...
So here they are... Happy (almost) Valentine's Day, everyone!

Random snapshots from January
Here are some moments captured this past month and a half....
Playing a *hilarious* game with lots of cousins and friends...
We got together with extended family to have a "work day" on the farm. Lots of progress!
We were thrilled to have some great friends of ours, the Bontragers, stop in with us while on tour! We were blessed by their music and the great fellowship!
Sadly, (and I'm sure much to the guy's consternation) I (Lana) can't remember which of them killed this dude.... but isn't it impressive anyway? :)
The whole tile laying crew at the end of the project, *including* the dogs. :)
