"Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation!" Psalm 68:19 KJV
Wednesday, February 17, 2016
"Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."
~Isaiah 41:11-13
These are the verses the Lord gave Daddy during this cancer ordeal, and they have been very TRUE.
The last bone scan came back clear, with no new lesions! This was a first!!!! The existing lesions are all healing or healed, and he is able to use his hands and right arm again, as well as being able to get around without a wheelchair. As of yesterday, he is finished with regular chemo treatments and will now remain on a maintenance dosage. Thank you for your continued prayers as the journey continues! He is steadily improving and gaining strength. God is faithful. He has been very near, more than ever before, through the storm and darkness and pain. He does ALL things well!

Waiting...
Friday, August 21, 2015
A very quick update.
The surgery to repair Daddy’s arm went as planned and he is recovering well from it. There are many unknowns right now, but what we do know is that some form of multiple myeloma is responsible for the bone lesions. The two main concerns now are:
1. Structure, preventing any further injury to compromised bones.
2. Cancer, identifying and treating it.
The Lord has opened doors and directed decisions this week in a way that reassures all of us that He is HERE, in the storm! Thank you for continuing to pray with us as we find out what’s next.

A Short Update On Life...

More from Wyoming!
May I present a post full of random and uncategorized photos from our visit with the Smiths. Whether we were hunting, shopping, playing games, working together…every minute was a blessing and we are so thankful to God for the gift of friends and good times spent together!
The Foster family, also friends of ours, came up and stayed a few days while we were there…the guys of all three families had a blast hunting coyotes together!
This was in downtown Cody, where a festival of some sort was going on…it was charming!
The girls! Allie, Rachel, Lana, and Lundyn. And then we were photo bombed…
Gotta love him! :)
“how many people can we fit in the elevator?”
L to R: John, Dana, Logan, Luke, Allie, Jacob, Seth, Clark, Denise, Levi, Daniel, Rachel, Lana, Jonah, Lundyn
Photo creds to all the usual people, and also I forgot to include Allie in the credits from the Yellowstone post…my apologies!
